Dan Offield is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has accrued thousands of hours working with clients who present with co-occurring disorders arising from substance abuse, domestic violence and sexual trauma.

 

He has extensive experience working with patients presenting with severe mental health issues as a psychiatric evaluator.

Dr. Sybil Stafford is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has served diverse and high-risk populations including military personnel for over 20 years.

She also specializes in anger management and domestic violence as well as providing family, couples, and individual sessions.

Providing therapy to Spanish-speakers has been an opportunity to expand Latinos' resources.  She is motivation driven because relationships are part of day to day living. Interacting with others, whether it's with a family member, coworker, friend, neighbor, or even the coffee barista.  As a therapist, she provides support and guidance; working together to help you better understand your dynamics and resolve challenging situations. Sand tray and art therapy are means for self-expression, building self-awareness, and promoting externalization of issues among other approaches. "The goal is to help you see your strengths so you can lead a life that is significant to you. You are the key to change. No change, no progress."

Kayleen describes herself as compassionate, genuine, and empathetic. She’s worked directly with children, adolescents, and families in public schools for the last 7 years. Provided mental health services (individual and group counseling) to students with disabilities and IEPs. She’s collaborated with parents, teachers, speech therapists, and other service members on implementing the child’s social, emotional, and behavioral goals. She also has experience providing couples & family therapy. Kayleen uses therapeutic approaches with her clients: Person-Centered Approach, Communication Therapy, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Strength Based Therapy. Being bilingual, she’s also provided individual, couple, and family therapy to Spanish speaking individuals. As an AMFT, Kayleen shared that she is open to feedback and is continually learning new skills and interventions that will help guide her client(s) towards their goal(s) as well as honing her therapeutic techniques. Her overall therapeutic approach is to meet her clients where they are at and to collaboratively work together to meet the client’s needs

Carlissa (KARR-lee-Sah) has been providing culturally sensitive services to children, families and couples for over thirty years.  Her mission as a Marriage and Family Therapist is to give you the tools to create your potential to empower, transform and overcome barriers that prevent you from reaching your maximum potential.  She has extensive experience working with those impacted by substance abuse addiction, anxiety, depression and relationship issues.  As a therapist she understands how trauma can be the origin for most issues and through healing and awareness it can be the key to recovery.  
She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused and a variety of 
integrated approaches to work collaboratively to help you change the way you think and feel to help you meet your unique needs. As your therapist, she will facilitate the process while the real work comes from you. Let's accomplish the process together!

Seamus (SHAY-mus) serves individuals, couples, and children along their path to mental health wellness. Whether you’ve hit a bump in the road, have experienced emotional trauma, or have a non-typical brain, she can help you revive, restore, or maintain a comfortable level of mental health.
Some of Seamus’ therapeutic modalities are; animal assisted therapy with a therapy dog, solution-focused therapy, DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), drama therapy, and person-centered therapy.
She has more than 15 years’ experience with the neuro-diverse population; Autism Spectrum, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities.
If you are looking for a Christian counseling experience Seamus also offers a non-denominational, scripture based, therapeutic approach.

Abneet is an open-minded, compassionate clinician with a wide range of experience. She has experience working with high-risk individuals with severe mental illness in both an individual and group settings. Additionally, She has experience working with individuals with substance abuse diagnoses through various mental health programs funded through Kern County. She has worked with high-risk teens and children individually and in an intensive outpatient group setting.

She utilizes various modalities in her approach to therapy, with an emphasis on a client-centered approach and integration of Gestalt and Cognitive Behavior Therapy techniques and interventions.

When she's not working, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
